It does not replace a full inspection of the lock, cylinder, and anchoring points.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n<section id=\"section-1\" class=\"wp-block-group msg-chapter is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A well-integrated multi-point locking system<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On common models, the lock case operates several locking points around the door. The cover conceals the operating rods for a more discreet finish than exposed rods.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The lock remains mounted on the surface of the door. It does not become a mortice lock because its components are hidden beneath a finish panel.<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"section-2\" class=\"wp-block-group msg-chapter is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The benefits of casing<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The cap is designed for aesthetics and protects the mechanism from daily contact. Various dimensions and finishes are available depending on the range.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Comfort also depends on the door's adjustment and control system. The number of points is insufficient to classify the products: the strike plate design, cylinder, and quality of installation all matter.<\/p>\n\n<\/section>\n\n\n<section id=\"section-3\" class=\"wp-block-group msg-chapter is-layout-flow wp-block-group-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Constraints to verify<\/h2>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The required width and height must be available for the lock case, the cap, and the door furniture. The condition of the door leaf, frame, and hinges must be inspected prior to installation.<\/p>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In replacement, compatibility of the holes and anchors prevents unnecessary rework.
