THE ROLE OF DOOR FURNITURE
The cylinder deserves
an appropriate protection.
The security door handle, or security door furniture, strengthens the area around the cylinder. Depending on the model, an external plate, a cylinder protector and transverse fixings limit its exposure and the risk of pulling off.
The result depends on the product and its installation. We check the cylinder protrusion, the door thickness, the hinge spacing, and the available space. An exposed cylinder or a mounting in a damaged support requires correction.
A security door handle completes the lock and the door. It does not confer A2P certification to the entire assembly by itself.

Pillar handle or double lever handle?
Pillar handle
The external handle remains fixed. Depending on the lock, a key is required to enter when the door closes. This option must be compatible with your habits and the lock's operation.
Lever handles on both sides
The handle operates from both sides. It controls the latch bolt, but does not replace the key-based locking mechanism: a door that is simply closed may remain accessible from the outside.

We identify the lock and take measurements of the existing door furniture: mounting distance, square position, cylinder entry, and door thickness. The plate width must also match the door's profile.
We select the protection features, mounting method, and finish in consultation with you. The cylinder length may need to be adjusted to fit correctly into the new door furniture.
After installation, we check the handle operation, key insertion, and locking function. The quotation includes the model, any modifications, and the installation process.

Can my existing lock be retained?
Often, if it is in good condition and compatible with the new handle. We also check the cylinder: it may need to be replaced or resized.
Is a magnetic handle a smart lock?
No. The magnetic shutter of the Salomé protects the cylinder entrance. It does not allow user management or remote door opening via a phone.
Is it suitable for all doors?
No. Door dimensions, fittings, the lock, and the door profile determine the possibilities. On a certified door, we verify that the modification respects the intended configuration.
