At a store in Thônes, MULTISECU replaced the external module of a three-point panic exit lock. The handle had been damaged by a collision with a pallet truck.

A pallet truck had hit the door and damaged its external control mechanism. Replacing the external module restored full functionality of the equipment.
Why is an emergency exit door so important?
A panic exit allows the door to be released from the inside by pressing the bar. The external module provides a second function: granting access from the outside. Its replacement must maintain compatibility with the existing mechanism.

The door was fitted with a three-point panic exit lock. Our intervention focused on the external module, i.e. the handle assembly associated with this locking system.
