THE HARDWARE
Effeff electric strike
The fire department from Groisy contacted MULTISECU to replace a faulty electric strike. The intervention involved a door fitted with a digicode, whose operation needed to be restored.
A faulty electric strike
The existing strike plate no longer functioned correctly and disrupted the use of the door. Replacement of this component was necessary to restore access control.
Solution: an Effeff electric strike
For this intervention, we selected an Effeff electric strike compatible with the existing door closure. The choice of equipment had to take into account its installation and electrical control.
Understanding the role of the electric strike
An electric strike receives a command that releases the door bolt from the lock. On the involved access, the digicode issues this release for a few seconds; the handle then allows manual door operation.
An entrance that must remain convenient to use
In a barracks, access reliability is essential on a daily basis. This intervention restores the door's closure function while retaining the existing code-based control system.
