The client's need
In Viry, MULTISECU installed a set comprising an Héraclès Platinum HQ2 euro-profile cylinder and a security door handle. The project aimed to strengthen the door's closure zone while maintaining practical usability.
The Platinum HQ2 euro-profile cylinder, the main defence against forced entry
The solution and the result
At the heart of this solution is the euro-profile Platinum HQ2 cylinder, specifically designed to counter the most common methods of forced entry:
- Anti-pick protection
- Anti-bump protection
- Anti-drill protection with pins strengthened
- Anti-rip bar
The modular cylinder design and its matte nickel finish allow the equipment to be adapted to the studied configuration. The dimensions and installation of the door furniture contribute to the protection of the overall unit.
Security door handle, anti-rip barrier
The Platinum HQ2 cylinder is paired with a security door handle designed to limit its exposure and reinforce the area around the key entry point.
The door furniture and its cylinder guard enhance the cylinder's resistance. Their effectiveness also depends on the door, fittings, and the quality of installation.
The lever handle provides a practical grip for operating the door.
A high-security custom pack
The cylinder's modularity and handle dimensions allow for finding a suitable combination for the door. Compatibility must be verified before any installation.
This implementation at Viry demonstrates the value of studying the cylinder and its door furniture together, rather than selecting each component separately.
